When people think about ziplining in Whistler, they picture adrenaline, breathtaking views, and unforgettable moments in the trees. And while that’s all true, there’s something deeper happening behind the scenes, something that transforms a simple adventure into a meaningful experience.
At Ziptrek Ecotours Whistler, every tour is part of a bigger story, one rooted in sustainability, community, and connection to the natural world.
From the moment you step onto the course, you’re immersed in Whistler’s old-growth rainforest. We have purpose-built our entire experience around protecting.
Ziptrek was founded not just to deliver adventure, but to get people into nature so they care more about it.
That philosophy still guides everything today. Every zipline, bridge, and platform is designed to minimize environmental impact while maximizing your connection to the landscape.
This isn’t just about flying through the trees, it’s about understanding them.
At its core, Ziptrek operates as a sustainable ecotourism company, meaning environmental responsibility is built into every decision.
That includes:
But what really sets Ziptrek apart is how it brings guests into that journey.
Throughout each tour, guides share insights about ecosystems, climate impact, and simple ways to live more sustainably. Turning a thrilling activity into something that stays with you long after your visit.

As of 2024, Ziptrek has committed to measuring and reporting on our impact on the planet as a business with the support of Synergy Enterprises, joining the Climate Action Partner Program.
The purpose of our greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory report is to measure our impact on climate change by measuring GHG emissions produced in company operations.
You can read our latest Greenhouse Gas Inventory Report on our Our Commitment page.
As a result of knowing the impact that we have as a business, we are also proud to start offsetting through Great Bear Carbon. Even though decarbonization is our goal at Ziptrek, we believe that offsetting is a must while we make progress to limit our greenhouse gas output.
As we look towards the future, Ziptrek will be committing a minimum of 1% of our annual revenue to supporting environmental stewardship, community wellbeing, and cultural preservation in the areas where we operate.
Through financial contributions, in-kind donations, and paid volunteer time, we invest in the communities and ecosystems that make our experiences possible.

In a place as naturally stunning as Whistler, it’s easy to be inspired. But what makes that inspiration last is understanding how to protect it.
Ziptrek has built its entire experience around that idea, proving that you don’t have to choose between thrill and sustainability. You can have both.
